I enjoy tackling large, complex problems that can’t be solved simply with off-the-shelf systems. I want the sites I build to be clear and easy for front-end and back-end users alike. Long-term maintenance of online systems should not require further programming.

In some cases I choose to build on existing frameworks (like WordPress or Substruct) to create a custom solution; in other cases, I custom-build from the ground up. The case studies offered here illustrate development processes that responded to the needs of each client’s situation.
